I spend my entire night reading most of the threads about Ilance. I know someone that is using the software and they highly recommend it. I want to get it but from the threads that I read V3 was expected to be release within a 2 months from June 2004. It still has not yet been released. I appreciate when someone say something and stick to it. Any closer date?

Yes, I can sense your fustration, as well as others who are actively running ILance v2 who want the next version up -- v3.0. There has been a lot of talk about v3 release, as well as some forum topics which mention dates here and there, but again, nothing solid as to what the release day will be.
ILance in full is not a 'standard' web auction script you would find and download from a place like Hotscripts, instead it can be considered a 'Business Auction in a Box' that provides a fully automated Service Procurement solution resulting in a very big web application.
With well over 300+ web scripts that drive it's core engine, there are many scripts to convert, revamp and re-organize for the release of version 3.0.0 which also provides a newly standard "Developer API" that provides hundreds of custom functions that can be reused in any fashion on other custom scripts within ILance software for developers that feel the need to extend the base platform.
ILance is a small, talented group of individuals who actively work 'around the clock' to provide support solutions for our existing auction version(s), sales and requests which easily lead to working long-hours after a days end, and roughly 10 programmers. We honestly haven't stopped development since version 1, and have learned a lot from our customers that are running the software for their market.
Version 3 development has been a mixture of new ideas, a re-written core engine that allows our software to seperate both HTML and PHP programming languages from each other, and a completely re-written documentation handbook for ILance owners. All I can say is this -- The front end of ILance v3.0.0 is about 97% complete, and the administration will be following shortly after. We do appologize for any dates we may have mentioned, but none of those dates were official release dates.
Please subscribe to the "Announcements" forum and when we discuss any new dates or information our customers should know, you will receive an email informing you about the news.
I would also like to take this time to let others know that ILance v3 is far more advanced than v2, and will also support both Forward, Reverse, Service and Product auction types that will also bring the cost of ILance v3 at a much higher price tag. The biggest feature is the RT Bid technology (Real-time bidding) that provides a complete visual bidding interface for both, the bidder and the auction owner.
What we suggest is this:
Purchase our latest version, v2.1.7 - This here provides you with 12 months of FREE support and FREE updates to ALL minor version releases of the software ie: 2.x.x. (x.x being the minor releases). To obtain a major upgrade such as: 3.x.x will cost our existing customer $199. This means $199 will be the cost to upgrade ILance v2.1.7 to ILance v3.0.0 opposed to the initial cost of ILance version 3, with rumors of the price being much higher than $1k
If you require additional information, please feel free to contact one of our sales or support agents anytime!
