Version 3.0.0 and features

Hello. I am very interested in purchasing Ilance, but I had a few questions first. Do you have an estimate on when v3.0.0 will be released? I read some old posts that said in about a month, but those are already a month old. If version 3 is going to be out very soon, I would rather make my purchase after its release, and save the trouble of updating, etc.

Also, do you have any documents that have a complete feature list of Ilance? I have logged in to the demo, but I'm sure there were things I did not test. And, can you tell me if there will be any major differences between version 3.0 and 2.1.7? I've read about the new template system being HTML based already, but I am curious about any other major advances. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with Ilance very soon!

Do you have an estimate on when v3.0.0 will be released?

At this time, we do not have an official ETA, this is mainly due to the constant development to improve and perfect all aspects a reverse auction should provide to your marketplace including interactive features and functionality.

However, you have contacted us at the right time, if you purchase 2.1.7 now, we can offer you an upgrade to version 3.0 for $199 when released, version 3.0.will come with a higher price tag, this will save you much $$$$ now! This will also give you the chance to learn all you can about the ILance platform and the many administrative control options it provides

When you purchase ILance, you will have full access to an online support system, where you can obtain 12 months of support via trouble ticket.

- Fully commented source code (new developers have no choice but to understand all aspects of existing code) :) -- results are standard, less room for error.
- Developer API manual in PDF on how the application works (not available in v1 or v2)
- 30X speed increase due to new template system API
- Enhanced SQL debug system to pin point all new development and add-ons your developers create
- Advanced Versioning control system which allows seemless updates from your adminstration section. When new ILance updates are available, ILance informs you via email, and you would be able to login to your admin section, and click UPDATE NOW.

Another main benefit that we will also be focusing on in v3.0.0 is the brand new subscription matrix. It introduces a unique user access and permission system where the admin can set up unlimited subscriber plans (opposed to v2 offering 3 main plans as default), with various access rights and permissions (ie: Can bid? Can post auctions? Can invite other members? Can be listed in search results, etc).

Potentially, the administrator could setup a 1 to 3 day FULL access plan for members to get a feel of the marketplace without having them pay... to get a feel of the type of business your marketplace will offer. http://ilance.ca/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

Additionally, the biggest features to be released in v3.0.0 is the following:

- Both types of users (buyers/sellers) can now act as one entity (buy services, sell services, sell products, etc -- v2 offers buyers the ability to post auctions, but sellers can only bid)

- Product Auction (with Pay now buttons!)
- Realtime Bidding (1 minute auctions now supported!)
- Moderator Support via Administrative Level system you can define (Mod Level 1 provides Accounting Maintenance, Level 2 provides User Maintenance, etc *admin can define access-criteria)
- Vendor Stores (vendors can created fixed priced products/services to promote their profiles via direct search)
- LiveSync system in place to ensure your marketplace application files are up to date with official updates from our main repository server (via v3 admin section)
- New Feedback system to reflect 2 types of auctions and user-rating options
