Hi, I have two questions regarding to your auctions software, Instant Marketplace:

Is it possible for buyers and sellers to upload videos or any other media files besides photos?. Do sellers have the option to sell, like classifieds too or it is only for auctions?.

Thank you for your help.

Rocio

Hi Rocio,

Thanks for your interest in ILance.

Yes, it is possible for your members to upload media files other than photos based on a pre-configured file extension type you will allow for uploading. IE: .zip, .swf, .avi, .mpeg, etc.

You can define these file extensions using the Admin Control Panel. On a side note, the profile menu in ILance now supports YouTube video support. Your members can post their URL and it will appear on their profile. This is also available now in the latest stable version of ILance. At a base price of $49 for a completely integrated solution such as Want Ads / Classifieds, you certainly won't be at a loss.

Yes. Want Ads, coming next week will allow a complete Classifieds system to the ILance software based on our new plugin system. Basically, this addon product can be installed, uninstalled, enabled, disabled like any other component within ILance.

Want ads will allow you to let members Post Wanted Ads, and other users to respond to those ads. In it's base framework, allows for extended customization. With the addon installed, your members will have an additional area to respond to ads, view ad status and so forth.

I look forward to you becoming a licensed member. I'm pretty sure the platform will work for your needs. If you would like to see Want Ads in action prior to public release, this can also be arranged.

Regards,
Peter
