As I read through the forum topics, their questions and their answers, I begin to wander where all the sites are. The only other php forum I have used recently, had a topic area (thread) for 'New Sites'. Here, I read in the forums about individuals that are on line, but they never list their site name or address. Is it not allowed? I am only curious.
Thanks
Bill
ILance does not share this information primarily to protect its clients privacy. You can ask someone to share their site with you if you want. Basically at this moment most people are waiting for V3.0 to be release so I do not think you'll see any difference in their site than the out-of-the-box version of ILance.

I think you'll find most of us are still beta testing, and as such they are not live... so there's no real point in listing our sites. After RC1 is released, and I have set up my site to my liking, i'll definitely be posting it here.

The only thing not allowed would be "users" whom signup to advertise on this forum (ie: some signature tag) showing a link or web site address that has nothing to do with ILance or their actual "licensed" domain.
For example, a guest decides to join, they make a signature to show when they make a post in the forums, the signature might read:
"My Site - Make Thousands overnight! -- CLICK HERE!"
However, this user is not a customer of ILance, so we do not permit his/her profile from advertising 3rd party sites or links/urls.
On another note, if the user has 'forum status' of a "Licensed Customer" this would allow him/her to post a signature tag with a link to their licensed marketplace.
For your actual question, this option is available to our members, but perhaps the use of "signature tags" is unfamilar on this Forum. At any rate, the signature tags can be created from here Edit Signature (http://www.ilance.ca/forum/profile.php?do=editsignature) alternatively, an avatar (or company / marketplace logo) may be uploaded as well and displayed when you make a new forum post (or others are reading posts you've created in the past) here Edit Avatar (http://www.ilance.ca/forum/profile.php?do=editavatar).
In other words, advertising content other than your marketplace as an "Unlicensed Customer" will not be tolerated.
As for your "New Sites" forum idea, I think this is a great idea for a new forum for licensed customers. If they feel the need to advertise their sites, they can do so using that forum channel only. ;)

Peter
