Love the progress and additions to v3 beta2.7. Cant wait to use finished v3. I am trying to look ahead and detemine what modification (customizations) I would like to see made on my site so that your system is even more customer friendly.
I am looking to use your system on a more local basis (city or county wide). Although the site can be used for any service or profession, one major target will be the construction/home repair and care sector.
B2B customers know what to ask for and how. C2B customers may not know how or what to ask for. They just know they need help.
Question: Will it be possible to have a category/subcategory information form that is particular to that industry? Example: I go to 2-3 roofers and ask them what information they would be asking their potential customers to bid on a job. I then create a standardized form for Roofing > Roof Replacement that a buyer would fill out and answer all the right questions. The customer has now expressed his need(s) in a from that the providers understand. This would save the customer time and possible confusion, and also the providers time nad confusion as they wont need to interpret customers requests or needs.
Creating the (html?) forms might take a little time, but in the end standardize 80%-90% of the information needed to process that bid. Easier bidding means more bids, more bids means more work, more work means more $.
Will a knowledgeable programmer be able to set this up for me in V3? I realize that just about any thing is possible, but on a scale of 1-10, how difficult would that be.
