I am very interested in this product , i have few quesitons before purchase .

1. Does it support Chinaese ?
If I need to translate the whole website include the control panel , how much for the custom?

can i translate it myself ?



2. Any other technical support for emergency

Hi lei, welcome to ILance :)


1. Does it support Chinaese ?


ILance provides our base translation of English US which is 100% translated. We update, support and focus on English as the primary language package provided with XML. Chinese will need to be translated by your translator within the AdminCP section of ILance or you can Export the English XML phrase listing, convert on the fly then import that Chinese as a new language in your marketplace. As a result, a user from the footer of your page can directly switch the language local for the entire marketplace (once all chinese phrases have been converted from English to Chinese).


If I need to translate the whole website include the control panel , how much for the custom?


We do not charge you for translation. We only provide English US as default. You have more than enough tools to begin the translation yourself or by a professional translator. Some of the main template variables you will have control with can define if you want the text going from left to right (default) or right to left (if need be).


can i translate it myself ?


Absolutely. There is no limitation. Be sure however, that once you begin your translation for Chinese you'll need to properly setup your database collation settings and choose the appropriate encoding settings so when you finally re-import your chinese XML file it will be saved in the database properly without error. This may require a few trial and error test runs as PHP and MySQL currently do not primary work hand in hand for language encoding. I believe PHP 6.0 should solve that problem with it's native Unicode built in. We're just going to have to all sit tight and wait for new developments from Team PHP.

ILance has written some code to help in this process, but you may need to still trial and error the translation from English to Chinese to get it perfect. What is more, I've seen marketplaces translated from English to Polish, English to German, English to Spanish and so forth. I know it's possible.


2. Any other technical support for emergency


ILance provides 24/7 community forum including a active bug tracker where you can report any issues found in the software. At the moment, we do not offer any paid emergency services. Furthermore we are not in the business of leaving you hanging. If you have a problem, someone will assist you within a reasonable amount of time.


3. Can i have the permission to access the admin panel ?


Yes. Please PM Erin for the username and password for the AdminCP area. She'll be more than happy to introduce you to the ILance AdminCP. It's where the brunt of your review and overview will come into play.
