Not a normal Auction

Hi

We currently have a website where we list our items and we do have a basic bidding structure which is not really used, people tend to contact us with queries and we do more deals on the telephone/email.

We are in the process of doing some SEO work on the site however, and the suggestion was made maybe we move platform totally and buy ilance.

However as I mentioned the items are added by ourselves(we are not currently getting other peoples items listed - although the feature is there in our site) we tend to just buy and sell ourselves. We tend to have quite specific items that tend to take time to sell.

I would therefore not want end dates on items and would not want it to say 'x' days before item closes etc. I would just like to list
the items and for them so stay there until I sell them, either by bid or via telesales and I can manually remove them when I am ready.

My questions therefore is Ilance the correct product? Is ilance overkill for us? and to make it fit the bill would it be a lot of work?

what you need is just modification of posting projects. It just needs some information not to have closing date.
You should also remove registration option if you don't want to allow people register.
So ILance is right solution but it just needs some changes :)
