for services, has to be auction?

I am very interested in the ilance script.
I need to ask some questions.

1.
Will this script be able to change the settings so that instead of the lowest bidder WINS, the service buyer(auction starter) chooes the service provider based on the price and the providers portfolio quality.
That way the auction starter(buyer) don't have to get the CHEAP service.(just incase the winning bidder's quality is not what buyer expected).

2.
can you have phpBB or vbulletin installed with ilance?
I mean members don't have to register 2 different memberships.

Hi,

Thank you for joining ILance!

The good news is that the software was built to allow buyers to award any bidder (provider) during the event, based on credentials, experience, feedback, bid amount etc. so that the buyer does not have to wait until the time has ended, that method you speak of already works.

We have not had phpBB or vbulletin installed with ILance.

Is it working?
Is there a page link that I can actually see it working?

I am looking through the admincp,
can you control how many files(images) a service providers can upload into their portfolio page? and the size of the file also, I couldn't find it.
also, can it work with flash video file?(may need some work?)

Yes, all this is possible with template modification. For the portfolio limits, you can set that via Subscription Permissions. There is a wide variety of options available to enable or disable including setting image width's and height's, etc.

now you should be able to see Forum link it top menu or you can open forum directly from that link http://demo.ilance.com/forum.php
You can enable/disable all addons in AdminCP and in that case LanceBB was disabled. I've enabled it and it should be visible in front-end now :)

Q2. can you make one of the attachments to the portfolio be video file and let the viewer see the video playing in the portfolio page?

currently, I use clip-share script that specializes in video files in the website.
I am trying to see if I can make this ilance script use video type of portfolio pages. It should be directly uploaded in the site or can be embeded like calling video files from youtube.

2. Yes, you can attach 1 video file to the profile. Maybe not attach but put a link to your video (it can be youtube for example) and it will be shown in your profile.
