Hi, I'm really sold to get your script. It seems like the best one. I totally understand you want to keep your customers' privacy and so you don't post any URLs.

So, this post is for people who already has the software running, PLEASE show me your URL. As you see, this is not your usual $ 20 - $40 freelancer's script, and so I want to be sure it really works. As I said I was sold until I enter the forum and saw some post casting shadows of doubt about the software.

Thank you for your time and for showing me your link. You don't even have to post it here, send me a private message.

I really appreciate it.

the demo site username and password don't work....
i'm starting to think if this is all a waste of time and to go back to PHP Pro Bid....

We can't see languages, we can't see a working site with languages, we can't have a demo with langugages, i'm the only one that speaks english and i have NO idea what i'm meant to do to show my team the in's and out's of this software......

The username and password for the demo.ilance.com doesn't work...

I'm finding this really hard to prove a need to my boss that there's a need to more away from PHP Pro Bid for better support and features, but we have exactly the same as before....

If people are using the demo, why can't we use demo languages???

?

http://www.ilance.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif lowest unique bid!
Which version of iLance supports this as i am still using version 3.1

I only just found the time to install 3.1 as i was stuck playing with 3.09 for so long!!!

If anyone knows when "Lowest unique bid" = winner was implemented, that would be fantastic!

Emma (:

So since you "installed 3.1", you MUST be a "lic user", so why all the mystery?

Why do you need a "demo"?

People really need to stop helping these kinds of people

WeGotIt4Cheap.Com Is Currently Using ILance 3.1.4

The logo is great but it doesn't seem as if any listings are visible or available. I think this potential customer is looking for an active site. Which is of course understandable, but what everyone must understand is ILance software works well but we have a privacy policy that protects our license holders from prying eyes.

It would be too simple to pass around urls and then ideas or modifications become stolen due to the competitive nature of the product and then drama hits the forum like it did in the past. That is no longer tolerated and is certainly not a direct hit to anyone in the topic. It's just happened before and it's not going to happen again when it really doesn't need to.

ILance is a product created since 2002. ILance is well over 5 years old and during this time we've perfected all scenerios to ensure the adminstrator earns commission and the buyers and trading partners can easily bid, buy and sell. That's what ILance does best. Not only that, but ILance is the only enterprise ready internet application that provides both Service and Product environments to your end users. If they want to sell products, they can. If they want to post projects and have complete management, they can entirely through their web browser or mobile phone web browser device.

The demo is available to see for yourself what ILance has to offer. The framework is suitable to add, remove or extend the system with any knowledable PHP programmer. The proof here would be our add-ons such as LanceAlert (32bit Windows Application) and other scripts like LanceKB, LanceBB, LanceAds and so on. ILance uses a smart XML plugin system that allows you to write code and continue to upgrade the software. You design your php code within the XML markup available to you as an ILance add-on developer.

Unless actual license holders who have been spending months on their marketplaces or who have been hitting it big with their marketplaces on fox news and other channels of direct audience marketing want to visit this forum and answer a pre-sales question (to a potential competitor :)) I don't think you'll find what you're looking for and I'm just being honest. If this sounds rude, I'm sorry I'm trying to tell it like it is.

This is big business. It's only going to get bigger. Get on the train now. ILance is priced to sell and Team ILance is working extremely hard on all possibilities of the new Web 3.0 social networking architecture we're about to see happen. We're working on a major upgrade which provides your end users personalized searching among other major optimizations. They choose what they want to see returned, they decide how they want to see the results and ultimately provides that end user an ultimate search experience not found in any other marketplace product.

Regards,
Peter

Yea I Did Just Get My ILance Couple Days Ago Waiting For PL2 To Be Released Before Going Deep In The Water. But Honestly Peter I Understand Your Trying To Back Your Business But People Like This Must Not Be Serious, Cuz A Serious Person Will See The Demo And Know This Is A Legit Company And Are In Business For A Reason. Me Myself Saw The Demo Got A Couple Questions Answered With Quick Response I Might Add And I Purchased The Software. And Am I Still Getting Quick Response Time For My Questions

Here is an active site using the ilance script. www.crelance.com (http://www.crelance.com).
My guess is some people buy this product, without brand removal, having no idea what they're doing and have trouble launching.
Even if you buy this product, you still may need an experienced professional to help ensure an effective launch.
Most successful sites pay for branding removal, and those sites won't show up when googling "powered by ilance."
I am in no way affiliated with ILance or I would be in breach of their privacy policy. I'm just a fellow skeptic who's been assured by finding an active web site using ilance products.
I hope this helps.

I completely missed your reply Phil. Sorry about that.

Well, what I meant was instead of only gearing ILance towards bidding, buying and selling we're looking into possibilities to take the application to the next level and implement very tight social networking tools into the platform without going overboard and of course without losing focus of what ILance is about.

We've already begun this process by means of adding a video profile url (youtube vid url) so that user's profiles can show videos. We're looking into other things where members may create mini-social networks allowing users to become involved in that niche, etc.

Another thing we're seeing today are social bookmarking tools. We'd like to get involved and offer some form of bookmark feature in ILance where various sections of your marketplace allow users to promote your site on other popular sites like StumbleUpon.com, Digg, del.ico.us and others. This should put your users in a position to basically promote your listings, articles, forum posts, auctions, want ads and many other aspects of what ILance offers, with very little effort.

Just some ideas we've been playing with lately.

Regards,
Peter

Web 3.0 sounds very promising, far beyond Web 2.0. Are you going to implement semantic web, microformats, natural language search, machine learning, recommendation agents, and artificial intelligence technologies?

Peter,
I am interested in how the whole social networking thing is coming. I especially like the idea of groups and discussions, etc. I am wondering if it would be better to just adapt an already existing app to this purpose. Maybe it would be better for us as a group (or individually) to focus on establishing a robust interface for standard user/auction/bidding/payment events in the context of a social network. I have developed (for testing) several plugins/apis for different user events triggered by external apps (facebook, joomla, community builder) but would like to continue them within the development paths that iLance is taking.
The datamanager is initiative is a great start. Anyone interested in continuing the discussion?
