I am very intrigued by your software and look forward to making a purchase soon. I have a few questions please.
1. I am more of an entrepreneur then a designer/coder. I have purchased a custom design for a freelance site before I found your company. Where can I find someone that can fit your code into my design.
2. I see bits and pieces about version 3.0. Would it be better for me to wait until 3.0 comes out to make the purchase? Also is there a list of 3.0 features somewhere?
3. If I want custom features added to my script is there someone that can do that for me?
4. I plan on launching a few freelance type sites. Is it one license per domain? Is there a discount when purchasing more then 1 license?
5. When can I see some templates that you will be offering?
6. I know this was asked before, but I would love to see what one of your customers has done with the software, so if anyone out there won't mind sharing I would greatly appreciate looking at your site.
I wish you the best of luck. I get so annoyed seeing $10.00 versions on Ebay or scriptlance clones that are only for people that want to sell the sites to someone else as a business opportunity. I was waiting for some good easy software with lots of fantastic features and constant updates!! You guys are the best.

Good question. There are many resources available to you such as tutorials within the forum, or you can hire a cost effective designer on various freelancer websites. Some of the main topics that arise at ILance forum is customization, marketing, etc and it honestly doesn't make any sense that we send our customers to sites other than our own customer marketplaces [but one good reason is to protect the privacy of our licensed customers].
What I believe we will be doing very shortly is providing a business resource listing that will allow our customers to register, provide a brief statement of service offerings and a direct link to their marketplace. I know for a fact we have sold our solution to various professional design firms, and this would provide an excellent resource for our new, existing and potential customers to find exactly what they require.
2. I see bits and pieces about version 3.0. Would it be better for me to wait until 3.0 comes out to make the purchase? Also is there a list of 3.0 features somewhere?
Yes. Version 3 is currently being developed hence you seeing bits and pieces on the forum. One advantage of purchasing version 2 before version 3 would be the cost. ILance version 3 will provide both, product and service auction support including moderation management, access-permission based subscription system (no more buyers or seller, a customer can be multiple entities based on the access levels they wish to do business as) --- Perhaps a buyer wants to purchase services, at the same time that buyer has 50 computers he/she wishes to sell. That buyer is now a merchant but only has that access if he decides to pay for it (which is completely customizable via administration control panel). So, with the new features and procurement ideas implemented into version 3, the cost will be much higher than what is listed on our main website. However, you can do this:
When you purchase any ILance products, you are supported for 12 months. Within this support period, you receive unlimited upgrades, patches, fixes, modification addons (via forum) and direct access to trouble ticket support to engage communications with team ILance. Also, ILance provides a very large discount to "major" version changes such as from v2.1.7 to the new v3.0.0.
For example, let's assume ILance v3.0.0 is $999 (when released). If you purchase v2.1.7 now (at the promotional discount listed on the site (eg: $599), you can upgrade to the new major version of ILance (v3) for $199. However, that choice is entirely up to you, depending on your situation and the need for the ILance product.
3. If I want custom features added to my script is there someone that can do that for me?
Again, this kinda related to the question above in terms of design. Team ILance will most definately be providing development and design solutions in the near future, but at the present time our resources are focused on the release of version 3. However, please feel free to post your requests within the paid forum area and maybe someone can help you out. [Arya, Dex, etc] Leave them private messages. I'm more than postive they can help http://ilance.ca/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif
4. I plan on launching a few freelance type sites. Is it one license per domain? Is there a discount when purchasing more then 1 license?
Yes. We do provide bulk discount licensing, and yes we now support customers that want to run multiple instances of ILance on their domain (and unlimited sub domains). However, when the need for a new database on a new web-domain is required, an additional license key will be required.
5. When can I see some templates that you will be offering?
Very soon.
6. I know this was asked before, but I would love to see what one of your customers has done with the software, so if anyone out there won't mind sharing I would greatly appreciate looking at your site.
I've been seeing some very tightly integrated marketplaces running ILance lately. I was pretty impressed when seeing what others have been doing with their sites. Since we do not directly provide any information about our customers, you could post a new thread in the proper forum asking the same question. I'm pretty sure one of our licensed customers may be able to help you. http://ilance.ca/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, you will find many auction scripts available on the web but the fact is -- You get what you pay for. http://ilance.ca/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif On the other hand, with a product as large as ILance, we felt providing each and every customer with 12 months of support should help them with any questions, issues, etc related to ILance as our committment to our customers.

I don't need any privacy! My site is up and running now and I want the whole world to know about it...Peter, send everyone with these questions to me.
lahav5000 - I know EXACTLY the process you're working through right now. Just ask Peter...I've been there and I'm still doing it. Do this. Post the customization work that you want done for the setup of your sites piece for piece on my auction site Dinku.com - when you do because you are one of my first customers I will actively go out and recruit professionals to come bid on your projects. I will personally make sure that quality professionals know about your projects b/c I have made contact with the professionals you specifically need...these are the exact same professionals that I needed and have been doing business with for the exact type of work you're looking for.
lahav5000, I want you to succeed. That's why I'll fast forward you to the good tracks on the CD even though I've spent so much of my time listening to the whole album.
Cheers!
