We've heard some input recently about ILance install issues. If you have some time to share, please give us some feedback based on the current "installation system" and what you think we can do to improve it.
The main purpose of the "windows installer" was to ensure that when the ILance files and folders are uploaded to your webspace, an automated process would CHMOD (change file/folder permissions) to the proper status to specific folders that require permission changes. A good example would be the tmp/cache folder as well as the tmp/cron folder. Another folder that requires permission changes is the uploads/attachment/ folder. If these folders do not contain proper permissions, the users would receive errors when they attempt to upload images or media to the marketplace.
