View Full Version : Where is the ILance Team?

I've been running to one critical bug after the other, right out of the box with ILance RC2 (a newly downloaded fresh install), that make it so users can't even register on my marketplace, LiveSync doesn't work, this is driving me absolutely up the wall. I opened my first support ticket three days ago and haven't even recieved a single response, so then I opened bug reports for the bugs that I found, none of them have been replied to either. What is wrong with this picture?

I appreciate all the time the ILance team puts into their product, but when things don't work properly, when put into the production enviroment, and especially when showing functionality that the ILance team claims is in the product, in front of the very people that fund my project, I'm embarassed and extremely worried about what will happen if I continue to use this product. Especially when I can't even get support in times of need.

Now I ask, Where is the ILance Team?

I've just reviewed your ticket and have shared some thoughts. LiveSync works when your paths for your server is setup correctly. There is some control path settings that needs to be configured in your Admin CP > LiveSync area mainly to ensure your ftp can connect locally, download files from the remote server and upload them locally to your ftp. If that FTP setting is not correct, you will experience that annoying loop. :(

We try to keep "Trouble Tickets" and "Bug Reports" seperate. As this may sound odd, the bug tracker is a central location where you are able to post your bugs and they stay posted until a developer (myself or someone else) fixes it, or flags it with the appropriate status. If you are posting bugs as trouble tickets, the extent of support will be on a per-case basis which may take anywhere from 1 to 7 days due to the massve emails, private messages and other forms of contact members are using to contact Team ILance with.

If you have a bug, and can reproduce that bug, please create a bug report. If you have a issue with your server or think ILance is not operating correctly on your server and cannot find or reproduce that specific bug, post a ticket.

Either way, I've added my response to your ticket.
