Supposing a client who advertises using pay per click protests that he is not paying because he suspects that the clicks he is paying for are not genuine, what do we do?

It would be nice to have a transcript or log file containing the IPs and times of click that the advertiser can download.

Is this already possible in V3?

Hi delta

The only way i am aware of is downloading the info form v3_ads_stats table in your database...I am not sure though that you may come up against some privacy issues there?

Assuming the client has signed up for advertising services, he/she will have active click / views tracker available to him/her. These stats are acurate, but you bring up a great point about tracking. To track these clicks or hits we would have to add a clickdate field in the db and whenever a member clicks the ad or views the ad, the information would be updated also in the v3_stats folder as Mark had mentioned.

At the moment, it will track the clicks, but I'm not positive if it's also tracking the date of that click.

Good one, add to a feature request and we'll implement this.

Peter

How about a "Click to download" activity report via CSV?
