Interesting. I guess nobody is listening :( These posts just seem to fly by everyones eyes.
Let's try this again,
If you are new at ILance, and had a chance to review or deploy a trial version, would you please give us some feedback? If there is no feedback from new or potential ILancers, than how do you expect us to make things better? :)
You feedback is essential.

OK Peter you asked, here goes:
In my opinion, Ilance 3.0 in its current version seems to be the absolute best and most comprehensive Freelance software on the market. However, it’s somewhat complex in certain aspects, therefore requiring "how to" instructions for those such as myself, who would like to get up and running rather quickly. Since such a manual is not currently available, even the friendly sales staff is unable to provide the required technical support to basic questions. Since the 3.0 release is new, it will take quite some time for the user forum to populate and provide such support. The ilance staff has referred me to the Support Forum where I get:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

IN SHORT: GREAT SCRIPT! – HARD COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!
from a wanabe customer:(
Hi There,
Firstly, thank you for your imput and recognition of the ILance software capabilities. :D
We do understand that some aspects of the software processes and/or operations do require some technical know how and practice. However, I do want to make a point that there is a very extensive product manual available upon purchase with well over 250+ pages accompanied by relevant screenshots. We are updating the manual as often as we can to reflect any new additions to the software, plus we will be adding more technical documentation in the near future.
When you have purchased the software and become a licensed customer, you will gain direct access to both the product manual, support HelpDesk and licensed areas of the forum to participate in ongoing ILance product discussions.
We try our best to fully educate new members and answer all questions within a reasonable timeframe and offer solutions that will work for different business market niches.
You were directed to the forum since that is where many of the new sales questions are asked and if a sales agent can not answer directly, we do have tech staff on hand to provide feedback to pre sales inquiries.
The fact you received the denied access was only because you are not a licensed member,(yet). There are areas accessible to read and review current product info and member dicussions. We need to keep the forum maintained and be aware of the access and activities throughout, which is why we update user status when a member becomes licensed.
We thank you for your imput and hope to update your status to Licensed :)
Welcome to ILance

Webdude, speaking from a licensed customer point-of-view, I would just like to say that ILance are probably the most friendly and helpful team I have ever dealt with. They go out of their way to provide support to those of us who have very specific requests and concerns. Before coming across ILance, I contacted a few other reverse-auction developers, and none came close to ILance.

Webdude,
Arcturus says it all. I have been a Licensed Ilance user for about 8 months now. I originally bought their V2, but when I saw what they were doing with thier next version (V3), I waited to launch.
Peter and his team are doing monumental things with V3, and to purchase the software now and be part of it development will only help you in the end. You have already stated that it out does all the others you have seen.
As for its complexity, after dealing with the software and using it and the forum for the past 8 months, I too am still learning. It is that extensive and it is only getting better.
If you are truly interested, I'd buy now, its bargain. And the service, while slow at times, I think is first rate. I don't think any licensed users would disagree, because thru this forum, they will see a lot of their own suggestions implemented. And that takes time and patience on the Ilance teams part.
Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

Having been an iLance user/developer for a few years I have seen this site grow and hopefully so has the product... if I can get my hands on it. Your link to order the evaluation version is broken, so how do I get a copy? (My browser IE version 6.0.2900 XP SP2)
I deal with a lot of freelancescript suppliers and iLance are definately one of the more pleasurable support experiences. Certainly beats the standard "processed" remark that some of you might recognise from another well know script!
Also Peter, is there an upgrade price?

I think its a joke 500.00 for a script.. thats a modified gpl.. lol
and list links that its free..
dont buy you will be sorry...
ILance code is completely original written by ILance developers. Don't babble about things you know absolutely nothing about.
Keep up your tone and risk ban.
I bought it couple of weeks ago and I'm really exited with the product. Even if I should fail to earn a single buck with it I will not regret that I bought it.
It's an excelent piece of software and it's a lot of fun working with it. Up to now after sales support has been excelent as well. Those few negative comments I've seen here can only come from envious competitors. The price is absolutely acceptable. It takes years to develope such a thing. It's very complex and therefore it will not work without putting some effort in customization. I don't see that as a disadvantage and I don't care if there are some bugs at the beginning of a release as long as somebody takes care of them. My feeling is that this is the case in this company.
Congratulations, Great Work, ILance!
Thanks for your Comments! It sounds like you know a good thing when you see it.
ILance will only get better from here! :D
