LiveSync = Streamline Product Updates
ILance provides our licensed members with innovative built-in live software update system that keeps your ILance software application files up to date with the latest development updates from Team ILance. Files distributed within the live update server are official release branches from the ILance SVN server repository which all Certified ILance Developers have access to.
From the illustration above, the zip icon represents the ability to download the latest version of that file to allow developers to review code before they overwrite. This works great for developers that have customized the software to their requirements. Additionally, customers that have not made any modifications to the ILance code base can simply "Sync" their files using a few clicks.
For customers that prefer to manually update the ILance software through the use of "update scripts" these scripts are always updated and maintained within the software download from your member's area.
Please be sure to re-upload the install folder (which you removed after the original installation) to your server and execute the install script which will provide you with links to upgrade the database schema for that specific software license and version.
